Breast cancer linked to non-organic foods

This  Fresh Air show from December 14th discusses, among other things, the link between non-organic, mass-produced foods and breast cancer.  A major cause in the increase of breast cancer since the early 1900’s can be linked to pesticides, hormones in meats, and other sources of hormone-mimicking substances in our food supply.  These substances are especially harmful when girls are going through puberty.  This is yet another reason why organic foods are so important, not only for fertility issues, but for women’s (and men’s) health in general.  Here’s the link to the show’s audio:
